Dear Barry; Why am I losing pressure on my nitrogen filled tires in cold weather on a 2008 jeep liberty with a tpms.-20 seems to be the starting point, when they achieve 45kps. Answer Frank, First, you are aware that all gases lose pressure when the temperature drops, including nitrogen? (in spite of what you may have heard) The principle is called the Ideal Gas Law. This means that if ...

Basically, they all tried to tell me that they never see much of a fluctuation in their tire pressure ever since they switched from regular air. Well, I think that may all be bunk.lol When the temperature dropped dramatically a ...

Hey suspension gurus! My buddy is picking up a truck this weekend that is bagged and is fed by compressed nitrogen. Is there anything that he should be aware of about running nitrogen? The truck will be his DD, so I am trying to figure out what I can for him about it. Also, what is an empty, extra tank worth? The guy selling the truck has an extra tank that he will sell him for $45. Is that worth...

Has anyone used Nitrogen in their tires and if so, do you have any measurable benefits like increased gas mileage or longer life of the tire? A dealer sent me an email about converting to Nitrogen for these reasons - up to 10% better fuel economy and up to 30% longer life of tires.

Anyone besides me fallen for the Nitrogen fill sales pitch? (I was talked into it once by Butler Tire) I found this on another site and thought it might be helpful: First, the claim that pure N2 provides more "stable pressure" than air over a change in temperature. Not true. Here's why: as a consquence of Avogadro's law, The ideal gas constant has the same value for all ...

Common soils are rich in silicon, aluminum, carbon (and other organics), plus or minus iron, calcium, sulfates, and nitrogen compounds There's also small amounts of chlorine, and trace metals such as manganese, phosphrorus, and what have you. Just to throw it on here, a general formula for clay is (Ca,Na).33, (Al, Mg)2, (Si4O10), ...
