Have a 99 ninja 250 for sale. Purchased a few years back to learn on but never had the cash for the ever increasing insurance and maybe in hindsight I wasn't ever serious about motorcycling. Details: Colour: Kermit green / purple Mileage: 29500 km Stock parts. Status: it's a slight fixer upper. Imo needs tune-up & fluids change & front forks. Maybe a battery (...

I'm learning how to ride a bike and have decided to pick up a smaller model. All I hear are positive things about Ninja's. Are these Bikes really that good? I live in L.A., would it be safe to ride during the Winter? I'm kinda looking to ride it all the time to save on gas.

Had an 02 R6 over the summer and it was a pretty fun bike. I didnt like the seat position and I thought it was too big of a bike for me. im 5'5-5'6. So I have decided to get an 08-09 Ninja 250 and would like to ask some 250 riders what might be my best deal from some of the ads I found. Kawasaki : Ninja:eBay Motors (item 320445214071 end time Nov-12-09 10:49:13 PST) 2500 for the bike,...

First Bike - New or Used Ninja 250? I'm debating whether to buy a used 2009 Ninja 250R vs buying a new 2010 model. What is a reasonable price to pay for a used 2009 model with low km, has been properly broken in, and has not been damaged/dropped. Used seems to range from $4000 to 5500 (private sellers). What would an "...

Lots of people have to learn how to ride a bike. My point is once you get comfortable atleast you should still be happy with a 600 and its not too much to learn on. You will quickly outgrow the 250. Good point!
