Hi, I am actually looking to see if anybody had moved from Nikon D700 to 5D2 or D3 to 1DsIII and what is your experience. I am myself tempted by a D3s (Im canon). lots of people gave me very objective points of view on the Nikon forum. So I wanted to see what the reverse is. thx

Axel has it right the WB issue you see is common because of the cycling of the light fixtures .... you can't fix it unless you have a gray card in every exposure

1:1 magnification is really meaningless when it comes to getting the picture you want. The subject should fill the frame (within constraints of artistic composition) regardless of whether you're using a P&S or a 4x5.
