I was wondering if anyone else has had the same thing happen. I had lipo suction of the inner & outter thighs, flanks and inner knees on 9/22/08. Things seem to be going fine except for the fact that I had a second period after the surgery when I shouldn't have had one and now I have the chills or get major goose bumps and freeze all the time, then at night once I warm up I sweat and have to ...

I currently take a very low dosage of lexapro (and have taken Lexapro for a total of 8 years). I have always had night sweats off and on. However, over the past three weeks I have had a night sweat every single night! It's always between 11:30-1. Does anyone else experience this? Or, more importantly, is there anything I can do to help it? It's pretty gross!!

my 36 yr old son's Dr. said his spleen was slightly enlarged, but not enough to see a specilist. He told my son to come back in a month. During the day my son doesn't hurt and his left side is not tender, but when he lies down at night he gets this hot feeling, like a heating pad is on his spleen and he breaks out in a sweat. After he breaks out in a sweat the area no-longer feels hot, They have...

Does anyone have suggestions how to control hot flashes and night sweats? I am 51 - no period for 9 months and then had a very light period last month. Have not had many hot flashes or night sweats for months but since last month the hot flashes and night sweats have been dreadful! Guess it is the hormones at work! Would appreciate any advice.

Check out Babesiosis... it covers most of the symptoms you describe your father experiencing. O2 levels, loss of weight, fever sweats, numbness, and much more... If he comes up with that also have him tested for Lyme Disease. They are caused by a tick bite. The ticks can be so small they are smaller than this period ( . ) -- very tiny in the nymph stage. We rarely see or feel them...

Hi there, many of us on here have had lipo suction affect our cycles. If you do a search, you will find many similar stories I myself was on my period the day I went into surgery, and it suddenly stopped that day after I got home that night. It then picked back up about 5 days later, and was longer than usual. It is just our body adjusting, we just put it through some major trauma. It always ...

For a long time I have had night sweats (7 years) and a year ago I started having bloating, heart palpitations, severe blood sugar problems and fatigue among other things. No one has been able to tell me what is wrong. I started to watch my diet carefully and removed gluten from it which has helped with bloating and malabsorption, completed a series of cleanses, started taking vitamins...

Replying to: night sweats?? I think it was ParentCenter that just had a little piece on this. Basically, it stated that everyone sweats at night, but for toddlers, it can be worse. Here's the article: http://parentcenter.babycenter.com/404_is-it-norma l-that-my-preschooler-wakes-up-drenched-in-sweat_3 652519.pc Ask your pedi about it. They may do some tests to see if there's something...
