Just picked up a nice 226 Nickle w/ nite sights. Guy said about 200 rounds thru it. Sights are dim, dim, dim. JJ date code. No box or paperwork. Got it cleaned and installed new night sites. I'm thinking I just found a new friend.

DR Nickle LoRider 4-string set. Cut to fit a 34" scale inline fender style headstock bass. Top-Load bridge... not string through. Can't tell you exact weight of strings. I believe they are Medium, but not positive at this point. They were only on the bass for a week or so to decide between LoRiders and Sunbeams. Went with Sunbeams for that bass. I should know this, but which strings would have the higher tension on the neck,, Nickle rounds or Stainless Steel rounds. I'm using nickle D'Addario XL 170's right now, and thinking of trying the Pro-steels. (same guage). Thanks.

Sig has plenty of aluminum framed guns in their nickle finish from what I've seen, so why can't my 220'd frame get finished in an electroless brushed nickle?

I found a LNIB 1986 nickle P226 today. Had test target,manual, box. It was on consignment and the seller wanted WAY too much for it. It's a beautiful piece.
