First time posting on the board and completely new to Yachts and the industry(my background is in aviation/pilot). I have, however, always had an interest in Yachts and would like the opportunity to start learning/working/enjoying being around yachts. Get to the peninsula and you will find many. (Rudy's, Malarkys, Cassidy's, Newport Brewery etc.. Around the Newport pier there are a dozen more. Around the Balboa pier (two miles down) there sre a bunch more (Class of '47, Balboa Saloon etc..) For more up-ity newport snobby type places try some spots on PCH
