2002 VW New Beetle, TDI with gray and black interior. My son broke the driver's side door interior grab handle. It has a cap that can be pried off allowing you to take two screws out. I called the dealer and they stated you have to buy the whole interior door panel at around $450 to get the handle. It apparently is sold as an assembly. Doesn't that handle come out when you take off ...

like the tittle says, I am selling this car for a coworker who just bought my avant so he wants to get rid of this one. Car is in pretty good shape and drives great. It has leather interior and its is a dark blue color. I will take some pics of it this week and post them. asking price is $4700 OBO

I hate power steering for reasons like this. I still like that new Cruze coming out and priced quite reasonably. Though I wonder what the pricing for the next gen NB and new Jetta will be. If VWoA had some intelligence they'd get in to the B-Segment line now with the rest of the Manufacturers. On Your key, either is chip for Immobilizer are bad or lost memory with cluster. But good thing is you have other key. If you have little black tag what came with original key there is SKC for your immobilizer and having VAG-COM you can try reprogram that key. If it is not working then is bad Key.

I don't think hillbilly needs to do anything. Like I don't think he needs to ever let angry teenage son touch the car keys again until he coughs up the entire retail price of a new door panel. Living with the consequences of poor decisions is one of the best ways to teach the making of better decisions.
