David Benkof (who is fast becoming one of my favorite authors in this debate) writes a defense for the quotes in the phrase same-sex "marriage" . Most salient to the discussion is this explanation for the use notes that we are discussing different definitions of the word marriage and asks, Why should I give in when the debate has only begun? Why indeed? [Read on with extras ...] Perhaps ...

I have a 4 month old Beagle puppy, he seems to be a bit aggressive towards us, and I need to make a decision of whether to neuter him or not before he turns 6 months. I need to make it quick because the vet said there is a long waiting list and it's cheaper if you do it before 6 months. So, I was wondering if y'all have your dog(s) neutered, and why I should or shouldn't do it. Also, will it ...

Hi, Iam wondering if anyone's dog has experinced their dog's sack swelling after surgery from neutering? It occurred 2 days after surgery I called the vet but he did not seem so concerned. It now has been a week since surgery and still swollen. The dog appears unaffected by this is eating and acting as usual. I am concerned should i be? thanks hank

This is so weird, and I am so distraught! My kittens who absolutely loved eachother up until yesterday morning when they got neutered are now three hissing, spitting balls of fire. Doogy is the main culprit, I think Jumbo and Tommy would both be OK if not for him. When I picked them up at the vet's office, I was told they were not getting along because they were still ...

SW and I took him in to the vet on Tuesday and picked him up on Wednesday. He had both procedures done by laser and did wonderfully well. You would never know that he had anything done. He seems to have no pain whatsoever. I was amazed at the cheap cost of doing this. When I furst heard about declawing by laser, I was told it would be about $300 just for ...

I recently had the 600 mile service performed, which included valve adjustment, and noticed it is now somewhat "tamer". Lower idle, slower reving, and a little less power. Is this normal?

My vet said that he could no longer see my 7 year old Rotweiler, Boe, unless I had him neutered. So Boe was neutered, and shortly after this he started vomitting persistantly every day. I took him to the vets yesterday and they decided that they would keep him overnight to observe him, push fluids and run some bloodwork. Today the vet thought it could be one of two things- a blockage in the ...

How funny, I always wondered why it still looked like they had their boy bits - I never squeezed them though - I did think about it to see if there was anything there, but it felt so wrong

There really isn't much of a downside when you get a dog neutered after they reach full sexual maturity like you are doing. I had a dog (the dog in my avatar) who got neutered at 6 or 7 or so. He acted pretty much like an intact dog.
