Is it true that neuter a young male (+- 6 mouth) is stopping his development, and he will not be as big as he should be? I mean the big head and everything.. what is the right age to neuter? I want him to be bigggg but not spray my house Thanks

Hello everyone, Keegan is a 17 week old Pure Breed Blue point CFA registered Himalyan Kitten. That being said, I am not planning to breed him. He is strictly a companion....or at least for now. What do you guys think? thanks

Ok so Melo is 10 months old now and i finally got around to neutering him. He had 2 nice size testicles I might add, so the fact that i even waited was a miracle!!! LOL!!! Anyway, I did NOT expect to have this empty "sac" (so to speak) hanging around after the procedure....I'm sure this is normal, I HOPE ....But if any can share pics, input, own experience....It would be appreciated.... ...

When we had our dalmatian done, he had a totally white butt and these 2 pitch black testicles. He came home with 2 black pancakes. They did "tuck up" but because of his coloring, were always noticable. But if you are concerned, check with your vet.

My Samson turns 6 months old on Friday and has a 'date' at the Spay/Neuter clinic. He's a timid fellow and has not sprayed at all. They won't neuter before 6 months at the clinic. Cameo was brought home from the Humane Society...he was born June 8, and was already neutered by July 31st. That's the policy at the Humane Society (no animal leaves intact). I wouldnt neuter him. I feel that if it's not necessary, why put the chinchilla through unwanted stress? Also, there are always complications that could occur, and its always possible that a small animal may not wake up from the anesthesia, the vet always warns me about that. I'm not sure why you would want to neuter him? I'm not trying to be rude, I just don't think it'd do anything for...
