I have a 12 year old son who has a Chiari Malformation Imperforate anus Imperforate anus repair Pulmonary arteriovenous fistula .  I was wondering if anyone knew of a good neurosurgeon in Charlotte or even in North Carolina who has a lot of experience with Chiari?  I would feel more comfortable with someone who specializes in this area. Thanks!

I just couldn't move forward with lifting because of my back. I have what's called Spondylolisthesis. Basically I have lost two disks in my back and the third is starting. My neurosurgeon says...

My daughter has had problems with pressure in her head, constant nausea, some headaches & balance issues oh, for about 2 months. She's in college and simply wanted to tough it out, until winter break, before being checked out by the Neurosurgeon. She had an MRI, and although there was one part of the tubing he couldn't see, he said the shunt looked like it was functioning. We said nope, ...

Thanks! She is doing much better each day. We got her pain meds changed as she was getting some nausea and now she's much happier. She gets her staples out on Wednesday, so that should help out as well. Its such a plus to be young when you have to go through surgery
