Anyone recommend programs with the following caveats in mind: 1) Academic bent 2) Heavy research component (pref 2 yr fellowship) 3) Preferably with faculty from both neuro and ophtho involved I've read the few threads regarding the necessity of many folks to do general neuro or general ophtho (depending on background) to supplement the limited practice, etc. I'm hoping with eventually ...

Recs: 14 RxDudette, I think I can finally see your gnus on the horizon! Attention Pin, Neuro, Ipar, Bshp...etc They are stampeding in our direction and will run over anyone wearing "shorts." I have to pinch myself to really believe this is happening. I am just a medium long (3.5 years, not a "long" long), but this investment has changed my life and will continue to do so ...

Recs: 17 Re: Some comments from my neuro/profitize I have contacted my Tysabri rep through MSActiveSource three times wrt to the reading aloud of the pre-infusion checklist and it has still not be corrected. This is a good thing, at least I hope it is! I called her office in tears this morning. I was at work with that blasted a/c and just could not take the pain anymore. It was unbearable. She was able to fit me in this afternoon. So, she looked through my chart at all the different medications she's tried with me and said this was the end of the line with what she could do, that obviously nothing ...

Beary, I think it has to be the answer, don't you? If you get a chance google zocor and see all the site showing side effects. It fits exactly to the problems I am having. I can't believe I didn't tell my Neuro about the Zocor! I'm scared that this damage will not go away. I don't know if muscle damage like this and nerve damage can heal. I just hope I get some relief stopping the...

Replying to: new and very confused by neuro Hi seddleman, I am undiagnosed too but my neurologist said I probably have early onset MS ( too early for positive diagnosis even though he thinks that is what I have ) I have only one lesion on my brain and I am 39, you need 2 or more for a positive MS diagnosis. and my emg was normal, my spinal tap was normal (you cannot positvely rule out MS...
