Hi I'm doing a reformat/clean install of windows xp pro sp2 on a dell inspiron 8100. Everything went well, and it seems windows as most of the hardware covered driverwise. however, i'm having trouble installing the driver for my ethernet lan card. It's not to be found in device manager in any way, not under 'network devices' and not as a device thats not installed. Can't ...

Not sure if this is the right forum, sorry if its not. Ive looked at the FAQs and non of them seem to answer my question. My wireless network adapter appears not to want to work. When I turn on my Xbox it flashes Red for around 30 seconds, then stops flashing and just stays Red. I should explain that I recently just got my Xbox back from being fixed from 'The Ring of ...

Hi, I'm a complete newbie to linux. I'm having problems with opensuse recognizing my wireless network adapter. My integrated motherword network adapter had to be removed, and now I'm using an external pci network adapter, D-Link DWL-G650 card adapter. When my integrated adapter was working, suse recognized it well and I had no problems. But now that I have to use the external pci card, suse ...

Official xbox adapter MN 740 for XBOX 360. SEALED with plastic wrap still around it. Do not buy the white one for a ridiculous amount of money. This gets your 360 online. Move your console anywhere in the house and stay connected. They sell for 100$ at regular price. It works right out of the box with the Xbox 360. I will consider trading games also. $60...price is negotiable ...

My 360 used to connect to a wired Ethernet connection, and when I moved it to a different room, it just all of a sudden stopped. Nothing has changed on it except the location, it still is on the same internet (which fully works via my PC) I called the 1-800-4MY-XBOX number and they had me go through the steps I already knew to go through, such as a hard reset of my router, modem, and xbox. I do ...

Well, I just moved to play Jr. A hockey and I am living with another family for the season. Before I moved my Xbox was working perfectly. I am using the original xbox adapter on my 360. I just tried setting up my xbox at my host family's house and i get a weird message that comes up: Quote: Some wireless network adapters may interfere with you wireless controller...

I have a fairly new Dell computer however, I can't use it for the internet because it does not have a network adapter. How can I get this fixed without it costing me an arm and a leg? (I am new at this, so can you tell me how long to wait for an answer)?

i would suggest you to get the official xbox 360 wireless networking adapter for best results. the allowed distance between your router and the xbox should only be 20 ft.

NovaNight wrote: Its the same in all the USB ports. And are you talking about in the Network blade? The link circle is highlighted. when you go to System>Network Settings>Edit Settings the last blade is it grayed out where you cant select it? when you test for XBL what happens? Lurkers are like my own personal fan club.
