Hi All, Been a long time since I have posted on these here boards. I'm hoping that someone here can direct me to a good Naturopath, herbalist or all around healer in reach of where I am. I'm not opposed ot Energy healing but I know that I will need some physical stuff to help me to self heal some of the stuff I have going on. I live in Greater Sacramento and travel most days on Hwy 80...

Anyone seeing a Naturopath? My grandmother is in the hospital. They just found a tumor. She has probably had it for 1-5 years. I was with her yesterday when the doctors broke down their "section" of her body & how they would be able to treat it. Gram was practically crying saying she never thought she'd have cancer because she never ...

i have been in communication with a Swiss Naturopath and told her about my symptoms. While she herself wasn't able to cure it she recommened this treatment. I have not yet tried it as I live far away, but I was wondering if anyone had heard of it. It sounds extreamly promising! Here is the link: http://web.mac.com/johnhanemaayer/ATLASPROFILAX/We lkom.html I believe there is also one in the ...

Hi all, I am looking for an open minded western doctor in the greater seattle area. Mostly am looking for someone who is cool with alternative healing modalities like acupuncture. However, I am not looking for a naturopath. I prefer a woman or possibly a gay man. Y'all have any suggestions? much thanks, Rachel

Mostly about what you eat, and nutrients you might be missing out on. There are some quacks out there, the good ones seem to be way outnumbered by the hippy whack jobs. My wife had a food allergy blood test and after years of medical tests, the naturopath told her some foods to avoid and she's been 100% better ever since.

Naturopathy is the use of "natural" substances as medicine. Those "natural" substances (like ALL substances) contain chemicals which interact with the body. In the case of real medicine, those chemicals are isolated, purified and measured. In the case of "naturopathy" you get whatever you get. Maybe you get the same dose as an aspirin. Maybe you get 10X the dose. Maybe you get 1/10th the dose...

Hey ladies, Hope you are all going ok. Im taking a sneaky look at BH as at work atm. Bourbon - So sorry about your BFN, but good to see you are getting back on the horse soon. How did it go with your work today? Your boss sounds horrendous. Good on you for making the decision! Peanut - I hope you are wrong and you still get a BFP. However, if it does happen to be BFN a break might be ...

I've been thinking about. Why are there no homeopathic engineers? or naturopath engineers? Why aren't they building homeopathic bridges across the united states, or homeopathic buildings? I mean, if their procedure is valid, it should apply to multiple disciplines, just as the scientific theory is applied across bridges, ships, buildings, the atom, chemistry, even the computer you are working...

Ok maybe its not right then? i mean i have been working in emergency for 7 years and never seen anyone with it either. its just what my doctor told me. she is a general practitioner but is really into natural health and believes that if you can do things naturally sometimes its better. which i agree with but im still unsure. i have only started going to see her in the last couple of months....

I'm not sure what your naturopath will do. Hopefully someone else will chime in on this too. Our allergist does two tests - he does a blood test (draws blood, sent to lab) for IgE antibodies in the blood. Then he also does the scratch test - where they scratch the back and then put the allergen on the scratch - a control scratch with histamine and one with nothing - wait 15 ...
