I just saw a link on the top of a College Football Data Warehouse page that read " Revised National Championship recognition following 2009 season" and it had a link to this page ( http://cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/nat...assessment. php ). Quote: From that page: "I believe the two major polls that have been in place (AP Poll since 1936 and Coaches Poll ...

We probably would be if we had a super smart player like Scheyer on the team. That kid really impressed me. 6+A/T...that is amazing--he also looked to be two seconds ahead of everybody, just played at a great pace. I love Meech, but if we hypothetically had Scheyer in the line up, imagine the passing capability we would have...I know that game was a 30 point destruction and probably an anomaly ...

Congratulations are in order for Matt Szczur who caught two touchdown passes, ran for 159 yards and had another 68 yards receiving, leading Villanova to its first Football Championship Subdivision title with a 23-21 victory over Montana on Friday night.

Who wins and why? I think Alabama wins. If you would have asked me 1 month ago I would have said Texas. The momentum seems to have moved to Alabama. Texas barely beat Texas A&M and Nebraska and Alabama crushed Florida. My prediction is Alabama by 10 points.

You heard me right. The university of Tennessee marched into enemy territory to do battle with the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide. Under the leadership of controversial rookie head coach, Lane Kiffin Tennessee was a heavy underdog and expected to be mere fodder for the undefeated #2 team in the country. What transpired ? We played our signature game that day in that hostile redneck den under the ...

Quote: We took out Daniel Baker 40-0 that year. He was one tough sunovabitch. I dunno. Jordan Shipley recorded the first double move against him for the first TD of the game. Jordan had to step over some chickens before touching the ball past the end zone line.

I say alabama by 14, texas just hasn't impressed me at all this year. Their attempt to run the spread will be even less successful than floridas. Then add that the texas d honestly stands zero chance at stopping ingram. The big 12 is a good conference, but most teams base themselves around being able to outgun the other team and not trying to build a defense ...

Not quite sure where jw was going with the "...new AD giving Candrea much more support" than JL, as I think we all know that the internal radar of most all ADs reaches out to just the heavy revenue sports - probably wrong, but doubt if Jim L. ever went to a softball WS when Cats participated, or was much more that "that's nice" when we did well. Would bet he was never at a regular season game, ...
