I really enjoyed this film, definitely one of the best of last year, but I thought the narration was one of the weaker points. It was mostly uninteresting and obvious comments about what was happening and sometimes the inner thoughts of the character. Both were unnecessary, especially relaying the characters' emotions, since the performances were strong enough that we know Jesse's ...

i though it was good in my opinion i personally did not need to hear jack complaining even more, i thought i was pretty balanced and she kept the narration to a minimum, i can easily see what you mean though, i think the fact that i just loved the movie clouds my judgment on that, i just watched it with a couple people who like it but if you're watching at night and tired, the ...

Hi- When I record a narration with my Logitech headset/microphone, Keynote says it recorded it, but I can't hear the audio when I play it back. I'm sure it's something simple, but I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I'm sure eveyrone here has heard at least one example of narration/vocal sampling in a song, although you might not know what exactly I'm talking about. Whether it be my favorite genre Power Metal (which features it extensively) Rap, Pop, various *cores* (I assume), or pretty much anything else other than Gregorian Chantings and Instrumental music, such techniques seem to be used ...

I get a little bit of the Wes Anderson feel from this movie. Not a bad thing, just pointing it out. Especially the narration which reminds me of the royal Tannenbaum like the monotone voice.

Why would i post this. Well it came to me in a thought. If anyone of you know my book Duo of Destiny, well I had a couple of thoughts about narration: Thought one: Jake narrates one chapter, Lina narrates the next, and so on OR Jake narrates one book and Lina narrates the other. I'm still at this point keeping Jakes point of view, but I wonder hear someone's opinion of this thought...

How do I increase the time for narration in each slide. I set PPT for narration but some of the narration is cut short. -- This is the day that the Lord has made. Rejoice!!

In article , Dslocum wrote: Is it possible to record a PowerPoint presentation using "Record Narration" and have PowerPoint record the mouse movement on the screen too. No, afraid not. I know that I could record the presentation using Camtasia but I find that the video quality of the Camtaisia playback file is a low resolution and I need this presentation to sizzle....

I know the narration has been mentioned before, but it sounds a bit weird hearing Ford say my-thyc'-al at the beginning. Maybe its another Chicagan pronounciation like Fulcan (Falcon). hehe D

The narration of this show seems to me to be making light of real murders, as it is in such a gossipy and lilting narration. The show would be interesting if it weren't presented in this manner.

no, I mean there is very little narration, but originally there was intended to be a lot of it. In a sort of detective film like Blade Runner they were wise to cut a lot of the narration and have Deckard actually discover things for himself on screen rather than have a narrative saying "I found a replicant snake scale in the bath" if you know what I mean back off ...

Breaking Dawn is in Bella's point of view (as always). People are getting confused because the EPILOGUE of Eclipse was written in Jacob's point of view. So to answer your question; no ALL of Breaking Dawn is written in Bella's view.

UPDATED Thu Jul 3 2008 16:55:44 The narration seems meant to set the tone by imitating a documentary style most notably used by Ken Burns in The Civil War. I think it worked as well as the rest of the movie but overall the portrayal of the period dialog (or even the dialog itself) came across as forced and unnatural. - In another thread someone mentioned the similaritiy ...

Thanks for the tip. I tried AIFF files for the audio, but had the same problem--the audio drops out for a bit, and then goes out of sync for the rest of the QT movie.

I actually agree there were one or two instances where it should have been cut (the only flaw I could find in the film), but it is wholly needed because it reinforces what's being watched is fiction. I don't want Fop, goddamn it! I'm a Dapper Dan man !
