I'm trying to use the data validation to make sure people use the same format when entering product codes into a s/sheet. The product codes are 5 numeric digits teh letter 'v' then one or more numeric digits again. eg 12345v1 12345v12 16549v3 Is there a way to use custom validation to make sure that the text entered follows this convention? ...

I love AMD, I have since they started. I have stock in AMD. But so help me, their naming conventions are ridiculous. The current nomenclature for CPU's by both intel and AMD are beyond reprehensible. I write this after years of frustration with both AMD and Intel, and my complaint extends to both the video card AND CPU market. Lets talk CPU's though: Let me give examples: I just ...

Hello, I believe I should capatalize all instances of main character names (either in dialogue headings or when naming a character during action - is this correct?) but wondered if I have to capatalize incidental characters who only appear once or twice and are not named. I have a father and son who will pass my main character and nod in recognition to him and have some minor action - should ...

The typical name formats are very obvious and consistent for the Red (-strasz, -strasza), Blue (-gos, -gosa) and Bronze (-ormu, -ormi) flights. You'd think the other two would have similar common suffices with their names, but it's much less clear. There are a lot more black dragons with "commonized" names like Blacklash, Ebonroc, or Blackscale. I suppose this makes sense given that their ...

I was sitting down to fixing some tab for "Hide Your Love Away" Question: G (add 5) translates to what correct naming convention (like G sus7 or something) I just want to use the correct name, not the common naming convention. And is there some place out there on that old internet that can translate to the correct one? Thanks in advance! q

( I'm working my way through Serious Guitar, which is very enjoyable, and extremely informative. But I have some questions on chord naming conventions. I thought a 9th chord could include the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th. However, he's calling this chord, with the 7th, a m7add9, \(so Am7add9\). Are both, or just one, correct? His Am9 does not include the 7th. Suspended chords. I thought part ...

One last quick question! I've set Input Messages on the column headers to explain what needs entering where, but when you select the cell, the messages all appear in the sam place, and not next to the selected cell, if I move it, then all the messages open in that place, not just the one I moved. Can this be changed or is it something I just need to live with? (If I cant change it, ...

For groups like "cavemen", I would not capitalize. But I would capitalize individuals, such as "CAVEMAN 1 hits CAVEMAN 2 over the head with a stick". This identifies cast, rather than backgroud, for the script breakdown. That's my reasoning anyway. I would point out, however, that it should be important to the STORY that Caveman 1 hits Caveman 2 over the head with a stick. Otherwise, ...
