Some may have noticed that new NFA rules on US based accounts took affect today effectively increasing margin requirements. Maximal leverage on the major pairs is now 100:1. Thus, if you had a 200:1 leverage before, your margin requirements have doubled. Do you anticipate that it will change the way you trade? If so, how and why? I wonder how many people got margin calls today?

Sorry to those of you who have seen this posted in NFA and Laws, but maybe someone on the General Discussion can help... I was at the Markham Park shooting range today in South Florida. I was shooting an MP-5SD (RDTS conversion) and after shooting it for some time was approached by a range officer who asked if I had my NFA paperwork. I said I did not. He told me I was violating ...

Made this post in the NFA forum, but thought legal minds might have a better shot at answering this one for me: I was at the Markham Park shooting range today in South Florida. I was shooting an MP-5SD (RDTS conversion) and after shooting it for some time was approached by a range officer who asked if I had my NFA paperwork. I said I did not. He told me I was violating federal law ...

I was at the Markham Park shooting range today in South Florida. I was shooting an MP-5SD (RDTS conversion) and after shooting it for some time was approached by a range officer who asked if I had my NFA paperwork. I said I did not. He told me I was violating federal law and that any police officer who asked me for my paperwork would arrest me on the spot. He told me I had to pack up...

I don't plan on buying anything NFA anytime soon but I do like to do research just in case Does anybody know of any good NFA dealers online? I've only found maybe two or three that actually have anything on the site other than an ad that they sell NFA items. I'm mostly eyeballing WWII subguns and M16s or AKs. Just price researching for fun.

Never Forgive Action is very pleased to welcome back the legendary Prince Paul . We did two shows with him at Gypsy Co-op back in the day and those jams still remain as some of the best in NFA history. Prince Paul began his career as a DJ for Stetsasonic and lent his production skills to the first three De La Soul albums, including the groundbreaking 3 Feet High and Rising. He ...

Hi guys! Recently there have been a number of threads regarding the ATF's letter on the Thompson Center vs. US case and how it affects folks with T/C Encores, Contenders, and MechTech type carbine kits. Here's the latest thread and it links to all the previous ones and to the letter itself: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=489299 So far the discussion has entirely ...

I want to check with an attorney and possibly some officials from the counties that I frequent to confirm that an SBR is legal to carry on a PA LTCF. I know it says it in the law but want to confirm possibly with some police departments? How many other people have done this?

It seems these classes are much the same as the FEMA credits but besides the three listed in the title of my question I have been unable to confirm or deny their credit-worthiness as far as TESC (or anybody else) is concerned. I think I would have heard about it if they were but I want to confirm that the non-ace classes have not been evaluated favorably by TESC. Thanks to anybody who is ...

I was looking up what states allow what NFA items, and was surprised to find that Vermont, which allows you to carry just about anything without a permit, does not allow suppressors. I also found that there was only a $25 fine for having a suppressor, which sounds like a joke. Does this mean that you can have one, and just pay the fine if someone catches you using it, or are there more ...

And this post hits at the heart of the problem. Why on earth do we have to duck and go through all kinds of twists and turns to exercise a right? Why? It seems that the answer is that we haven't gotten mad enough yet. We, as a nation, are like the frog in the pot of slowly heating water. We aren't at the tepid stage--far from it! We are in the rolling boil, and we don't seem to care...
