Im looking to buy both the Netgear DG834 adsl modem/router and the WNDR3700 wireless router to replace the BT home hub I have just now. I was wondering if anyone has experience with either of them? Also if anybody has any recommendations of alternative kit.

I have a netgear router with both windows and linux connected to it. my windows works good but the ubuntu linux does not work. the netgear router assigns it an ip but does not show it is connected and does not let it access the internet. I do not want to put it in a dmz zone. does anyone know why it is not working with the router.

Hi, my old router packed in the other day and I've managed to acquire a Netgear WGR614 v9 router from Virgin. The only problem is that it's probably for cable and when I plug the ADSL line (with BT) in it doesn't get a connection. Presumably this is because it's designed for cable (I think) although I wouldn't have thought the connections would be the same.. Is it possible with a flash...

I have a Netgear DGND3300 RangeMax DSL modem that's just blinking red and green and will not connect to the internet. I pushed the power botton while doing a firmware upgrade. Now my modem will not work, did I hose my modem? This Is not mine personally but a friend I have on the phone.

I can't connect at all, I think I read somewhere that this is a known issue? If so anyone have a guide to fixing it. I'm with UTV and using the bog standard netgear router they throw in.

Hey folks. I am somewhat of a linux noob, so I need some help with this problem. I installed F12 and can't figure out how to get my Wifi to work. From doing searches I have found I can use ndiswrapper or madwifi. Which would be the best solution, and which can I install offline? Supposedly this card has an Atheros chipset.
