What Does Your Handwriting Look Like? I've seen a few of these threads on a few other sites but haven't found one on here so I decided I'd make one. I'll post a picture of mine tomorrow - it's too late to do it tonight __________________ Aaron/15/Male/Kansas/ G a y . ...

DD is starting to write and is very interested in how she makes her letters. I had not planned to start formal handwriting lessons until she was 5 but now I am feeling maybe I should give her some guidance to prevent bad habits?? I am not ready to buy a handwriting curriculum so I was wondering if there are any free resources good for new writers? TIA!

Yes, I know these polls are quite common these days, but I like to see what peoples' handwriting looks like, so I decided to start one of these polls myself. Like I wrote on the paper there, please be honest, and I am personally not that fond of my handwriting, so we would be on the same page of we don't like it. So...tell me what you think! -KKF

For the past 4 months, my 6 year old son has been learning the D'Nealian style of handwriting. Now that I will be starting homeschooling in January, I'm wondering, should I stay with the D'Nealian or use traditional handwriting? I'm told by so many people that cursive writing is not so important anymore in schools. I'm wondering what everyone else is using and the benefits of either. Thanks ...

Hello I was just wondering how people do this with their Year 1's? I want to start doing some extra work with a few children possibly during one assembly each week too so any good ideas for this would be really appreciated! We have to do cursive with them - poor things! As if it's not hard enough!! Never worked in a school where Y1 are expected to write like this so really do need ...

My school policy is that chn begin to learn to write cursive script in Year 1.This is proving near impossible as I have never had so many chn with such poor letter formation! I have at leat 10 chn who are forming the majority of their letters incorrectly. Thes rest of my chn seem to have reasonable handwriting so I am very confused as to what what I should be teaching, when and to ...

Does anyone know how to scan a form into a computer and be able to enter data (fill in the blanks) and then print it. Not looking for anything fancy or expensive.......more convenience on Vin check forms than handwriting them out. Ideas? Thanks!
