I went to my first gun show yesterday, but was disappointed by how small it was and the lack of accessories for Ruger revolvers. There were thousands of guns for sale by vendors and individuals. I even sold 2 of my guns and I got out of there without buying another gun. It was a close call though. I started looking at some pocket-sized semi autos in .380. The Ruger LCP and a Kel-...

As I am no longer issued weapons and am living out on my own, I'm wanting to invest in my first. However, with my inability to use my left arm, I'm looking to buy a revolver for the ease of use. I'm thinking about a .45 acp. Not to much, not little... Opinions? I'm thinking this will be best. If needed in self defense, chambering a round with a slide would prove to be dangerous and time ...

Hello everyone. I'm just starting to paintball with some co-workers. I'm looking at purchasing my first gun. After some research I'm considering the BT TM-7 TACTICAL. http://www.stuffbox.com/Box/?bid=50232 Is this a good beginners gun? I'm not looking to spend more than $400.00 .

Hello everyone, I like many are new to the forum and have done my share of reading posts here and elsewhere, viewing youtube and sporting goods sites to come to the choice of a Mossberg 500A. This is the first gun I have ever purchased. I have on occasion gone with friends to the outskirts of town and the local range to shoot 22’s, 38’s and 357’s. I’ve shot various rifles but never own a gun of ...

Informant still gets big cut in sentence despite two juries refusing to believe his evidence in gangland murder trials The first supergrass to be used in Britain in the fight against gun crime in black communities is to be dropped by police and prosecutors after two juries refused to believe his evidence, the Guardian can reveal. But despite the setback police are pressing ahead with ...
Well, I just pulled the trigger (pun intended) and bought a Springfield Loaded Champion, stainless steel, along with a box of Winchester JHP (white box). So where do I go from here? I intend to get to the range and try it out, but before and after, how do I care for the gun? I know nothing about gun maintenance, and I'm wondering if anyone can point me towards some good gun cleaning kits ...

33 years! The last time I bought from a "store" was in 1976 when I purchased a Ruger New Model Blackhawk 7 1/2" in 357. After giving my beautiful (1969) SW Mod 36 to my daughter (college senior) all I was left with in hand guns was the Blackhawk, a Dryese vest pocket 25, Ruger Mark I, Nickeled Colt Frontier Scout in 22 mag, Nickled Colt Ned Buntline Commerative and a Beretta 92FS....

We've been informed and you heard it here FIRST, that there will be a XCM XFPS Light Gun, which works for all first person shooter (FPS) games. It will be released for the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) first and the Xbox 360 version 2 months later. However, if you cant wait an extra 2 months for the Xbox 360 version, you can combine the PS3 version with the Cross Fire Converter . The XCM Cross ...

Hey folks. I'm a new pup to the forum and I joined because I'm planning on getting my first gun sometime soon. To start with I've always liked firearms even though I never owned one and the closest thing I've ever came to shooting one is a paintball gun. I live in the Bahamas and the pour law structure we have here is very retarded when it comes to guns. You can only have semi auto ...

Here's one more vote for a .357, but really it's a vote for a .38spl. Just to get familiarized, I'd get one of the LE .38spl trade-ins off of a surplus site like jgsales.com or a gun show. If you're not trying to hide it (CHL), get a full size, full weight gun. It'll be much more forgiving. Remember, if you're making the gf learn, you're really buying a gun for her first, and you second. ...
Hard to beat the 7MM-08 it's good for predators all the way up to Elk at reasonable ranges and is something he/she can use the rest of their life. Making sure the gun fit's correctly goes a long way in reducing felt recoil in any caliber. Stay away from hammer guns for youngsters. They are not made for a small kids hands.
