I guess my question above pretty much sums up what I'm looking for. As for myself I have been shooting a TC Omega (early model) for the last 3 years. I still have my TC Englander .54 cal too, but hunt only with the Omega .50 cal. I'm an old timer and I'm not easily swayed by all whats new, althoough the "new" may have certain bennefits, are they worth throwing out the old and paying the ...

> powder measures.I was worried about my powder losing its potency or absorbing moisture. If you are like me i switch from season to season and do not always put store things as I should.I took my vacuum sealer and made some small packets, @ 1"x 4" then filled them with my Triple 7 and sealed the end. After making a very small cut on edge, I have ...

Hello, I have a question on muzzleloaders, are they still popular? At one time there were clubs and enthusiasts that had fun with these types of guns, I haven't heard much about them recently.. I have a old 50 caliber Hawken style rifle on my wall I built from a TVA kit years ago and can't remember if I even fired it, it Needs to go shootin.... Thanks for your opinions, Jim

Just a reminder if you let a pal borrow your Muzzle loader. If for some reason you keep a charge in the gun let them know. A friend of mine has a family member who borrowed a ML and loaded it when it was already loaded! Im not sure he has use of the three fingers they reattached.

I'm looking for a muzzleloader with scope and I have a $500 limit. I'm sure this is a very subjective question, but I don't know a whole lot about which ones are good or bad. From what I have learned, I think I want the following. Stainless/nickel for cleaning purposes, break in-half style, 28" barrel, magnum, 200 yard capability. I've been to MC, Gander, Al & Bobs, & Hilltop and haven't seen...
