Hello! I'm in the process of de-banning my MAK90 and I want to put a brake of some kind on it to help keep the muzzle from rising on me, but the threads have been turned down and I have no way to thread the barrel... I was thinking of a slant break?... The barrel is not threaded so could I possibly use one of the adapters? (here is a link to one)- http://www.combathunting.com/...

I have an old Universal M1 Carbine my dad passed down to me that he bought in the 70s. While not in the best aesthetic condition it's been a reliable straight shooter for him and I alike, regardless of Universal's lackluster reputation. I'd like to put a muzzle brake on it but I don't want to spend the money to get it threaded, buy a brake, and have said brake put on. I'm confident I could "...

Hi Everybody, I'm new to this forum and was hoping for some assistance. I have recently purchased a CZ 52. It was constructed in 1954 (the last production year for this model) I got it with the idea of adding a number of after market parts and basically customizing it. My goals were to get the following things. Hard Chrome refinish. (check)! Bought it that way! :?) Stainless ...

Many of the MAK-90's do not have the muzzle turned down. Many were just never threaded so they are full diameter and can be threaded using original AK threads. There are a few different versions of MAK-90's though.
50 i whole heartedly agree if i were to purchase a 408 it would be from EDM i didnt know the whole story but i know the reputation that EDM has and ive met owners of the beautiful windrunner 50 that cant say a negative word about EDM i was just trying to say that the rifle by itself is over priced but most people go by the 14000 "package" price that includes more than just the rifle...

Muzzle Brake- Directs some of the expelled gases backwards to lessen felt recoil. Compensator- Directs some of the expelled gases upwards to lessen recoil "rise". Supposed to help reacquire target faster.
