if you've purchased the rights to a song, does it matter where you download it from? keep in mind this has to stay 100% legit. back story: I'm at a client site filling in for another engineer that's on vacation and unreachable. he purchased 3 songs for the client's hold music, but only put 1 song on the mp3 player connected to the phone system. I've been tasked with putting the other 2 ...

What on Earth is Fox spending money on? Don't they want to make some? Release season one to seven in 2010. This is an absurd insult to one of the most clever shows to ever be broadcast on television. Respect your fans. Allow us to purchase real dvds, not awful, subpar bootlegs with no bonus footage. It's about time.

After many years of speculation, I signed up for the 2 week free trial of Zune Pass last month. I like it but have since canceled the Zune Pass. Now now every song that I have purchased through the marketplace tells me that I do not have the usage rights for it. If I knew that I would lose all of ...

In another post http://thecaveboard.yuku.com/topic/7042 Martin pointed out that the music rights for the 66 series are secured by Billy May and Hastings Music. I wonder if these incidental music segments will ever see the light of day again? Is it possible to encourage the rights holders to release these much like some of the holdings of Carl Stalling and Hoyt Curtin? Martin do you have a ...

Music Rights for Videos Does anyone know the legal music rights for selling videos? I have heard that if you make less than 500 copies, then you dont need to get rights to the music you use. Is that true? I will probably only make 2-300, selling them for maybe $5. I didnt use mainstream bands, but not local ones either. Any info ...

Yeah I would not touch that.. This is a sticky area.. If you have a place of employment say a garage and you have 3 mechanics working there. You technically can not even play a radio without paying ascap fees. That is a different class then you listening.. technically they consider it broadcasting and you need to pay for anyone who may hear it. That system is complete BS.. You need...

I'm not a company or Microsoft, and I'm not really trying to taunt. The fact is Microsoft is not maliciously and intentionally breaking protected purchased content... so, in my opinion, there is little reason to make one of our world famous American lawsuit threats. If solutions in this forum don't...

So I've gone through multiple hard drives and computers and keep shuffling my collection along. Actually ticks me off I have to start my zune from scratch every time I do so as it treats my zune as an outsider every time I switch computers. One of the reasons why I use it less and less. But.... Zune...
