Starting this morning, my pre no longer plays my music files-not as ring tones, not via the music button on the launcher-not through headphones, through the AUX jack on my car, not at all. It will play a 2 second blip of the song, and then crackles a bit and nothing else. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? Thank you!

I got Windows 7 instsalled and the os works failry well EXCEPT I cannot install programs from the new Sony DRU V200 A DVr R-Rw drive nor the Lite On iHDPZX12 DVD reader. These drives are both new and worked while I was installing the os but now neither drive will run installation programs nor play music files. I have ripped several Christmas CD's to my laptop, but have no idea how to segregate the music from my year-round library. Is there a way to separate it so that in July, when I hit shuffle I won't hear Winter Wonderland or Silver Bells? 1 person needs an answer I do too

Burnt all my music files, from Windows Media 10, onto discs. Did Full System Recovery. Upgraded to Media 11. Now, when i try to rip the music from said discs back into the library, all i get is 'Windows Media Player cannot rip one or more tracks from the cd '. Help need urgently please. I have a short Windows LIve Movie Maker video, but shorter sound clips - about 10 or 15 seconds long. It would take about 4 of them, repeated, to fill the video. But when I add the third one, it's about half as long. Then the fourth one is shorter again! 1 person got this answer I do too

I'm thinking there is a problem with file permissions and have tried to take ownership, but administrator account either does not have permission to do this or it makes no difference.
