i started playing soccer a couple of times a week for a few months now, and i'm getting TERRIBLE pain in my lower leg muscles. It's crippling sometimes - and sometimes afterwards i'll have noticeable knots on my leg where the muscle is cramped. Anyone knowledgeable about such things? what could i be doing wrong?

LOL it's crazy how much LT changes us, not only physically, but mentally too. I just hope this time when I've finished, I'll have a better perspective on weight maintenance.

Thanks for your reply! I do walk! I am actually up to 4 miles per day. When I walk my quads feel fine, my back hurts a little, but thats all I walk every day. I stretch before and after. I still have the darn pain. Its very tiring. Sometimes my arms hurt even. Its not just my legs. Thanks again!!! Lolly

I am having the same thing. I had the flu shot about 6 wks ago and 2 days later the backs of my thighs felt like I had done 100 squats, then it radiated down to my calves. Then about a wk later it started in my upper arm muscles. So now its in my legs and arms. It gets a little better, then it gets worse. I don't think this is a coincidence.
