Easily one of the more bizzare car shows I've entered. The car show was in conjunction with bodybuilding competitions, arm wrestling, martial arts exhibitions, strong man competitions, and more. I've never seen so many overly-tanned people in my life. They were as dark as cherry wood furniture. The ladies were way too "buff" for my liking too. That said, it was a good show and being November...

well finally after a long 5 days the Muscle Car and Corvette nationals have ended. Saw many amazing car ranging from some badass new camaros (including the twin turbo one from FLP, VERY COOL) to some of the rarest muscle cars ever. We took down the 1969 Dodge daytona that we just finished the restoration on. We won 4 awards with the car. A Gold in mopars (finest mopar) Mr. Norms pick. some ...

OK, so I am going to get smashed here by some... but I honestly don't believe that any Aussie Muscle Car is worth a million bucks. We saw what has happened to the market since the GFC - XY GT Phase IIIs aren't even clearing for 400k. So, anyway, it looks like prices are on the rise. I say, be careful... just like houses, if you pay too much, you'll get burned. And it looks like prices are ...

As you can see, I have been a member here for quite some time, and the viper dream still eludes me, but after my truck project tanked (long story) I have finally bought myself a vehicle that is 1 step closer to the viper. The mods will begin soon! To cut this rant short, I finally bought my first sports car, here are some pictures. =) I am ecstatic! Hope the pictures are of good quality, I...

Ok, Ive been getting MCR for 2 years now and this might be the second best issue. Obviously the nov 09 issue was the best because of the X reunion and stage 2 articles. This is the yearly barn find issue and includes: a paragraph on a 28000 mile original GSX (owned by Bill Sales) A football coaches love for a 70 Super Bird A Norwegien 69 Boss 429 and a great story on a 69 Judge.

I agree with the load and unload. Last year it took us forever to get loaded up. This year we brought the truck/trailer into the building and drove the two cars that we brought over, loaded, strapped, and took off. Very well organization. Bob did well this year! Even the judging was for the most part organized (the meeting only took like 15 min) then they divided us up with our groups ...

I powerslayer I: .... Pontiac's legendary GTO (the first TRUE American muscle car).... The GTO was the first car marketed as such, but was definitley NOT the first Muscle Car. Go back to '55 with Chrysler's C-300 with the advertised 300hp rating, hence the "300" moniker. Nine years before the '64 GTO. Even before that, Ford's flathead V-8,...
