I've searched so I know this is a long shot but is anyone running the Multicore muffler? I've got ARH headers on the way and I'm about to replace my Corsa mufflers with either the Xr1's or the XR1 multicore's. The multicore's are around $100 more per muffler than the regular Xr1 and I'm wondering if the multicore merge collectors would produce a better sound.

If I have multicore rendering enabled, my Team Fortress 2 crashes every time the server changes maps, and if I have it disabled, the game runs like crap. So is their anything I can do to keep multicore enabled? Thanks

Every time i activate that Multicore Rendering i get a Bluescreen. Sometimes it takes half an hour, sometimes ist takes 2-3 hours of Gameplay. The point in still activating Multicore Rendering is, that without it i only get bout 10-20 fps and that's not enough. Please fix this... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3282014/Blue...0Bug%20TF2. jpg

TL;DR: http://imgur.com/iMbiA.png When it was introduced, multicore rendering was a long-awaited feature that was unofficially implemented. Upon release, there was question about whether there was any benefit to this option, as some people even saw decreases in framerate. Has it improved any since then? Have you completely forgotten about this ? FPS gets lower and lower after each update and the multicore still doesnt work, or works with less or more significant problems, for the majority of community. You should get it right unless you want to have the worstly optimized AAA game on the market.

This has happened in TF2 and DOD:S (Both run the orange box engine) When I enable multicore rendering, and play for.. oh say 10-30 minutes, I get a BSOD (Unsure on the error, but I can probably get it for you if you want). But it was something with todo with my CPU I remember that much, so I was just wondering is there a known problem with Day of Defeat, or any Orange Box Engine game, with ...

Hi, I am using a six screen set-up to trade online through a web interface. I have adequately powerful hardware; 2.3GHz Quad-Core processor and 8GB of ram. Because I sometimes have up to 60 tabs open at any time (10 on each screen), the browser can crash as Firefox doesn't make adequate use of multicore processors. Even if I have these tabs open for some time and then close most of them, some ...

A report has appeared in Japan which says Sony, as early as now, is working on a new Playstation 4 which would have a multi-core design. The reason behind this, according to Japanese website PC Watch, is looking at alternatives to the PS3's Cell architecture, which would hopefully make PS4 easier to develop for. http://metrogaming.ning.com/profiles...oing-multic ore

and I can't figure out what's the problem. In the Cinebench thread I discovered how horrible my system is doing at multicore operations. I'll get some shots of my BIOS screens up here in a bit so you all can help me get this sorted out. It's obviously not an issue with my hackintosh partition rather than the Win7 because both are about the same. I even killed all background apps just in ...

Sony has said they expect the PS3 to stick around for about 10 years, but that doesnt mean they can hold off development of their next console http://kotaku.com/5435384/report-son...design-for- ps4 They could be abandoning their cell processor in favor of a multicore design, more common in PCs of today. Not a big surprise to me as Sony has been getting complaints from developer ...

The problem with talking about individual consoles is that they get lumped in with other things and it's hard to separate. So the PS3 gets bolstered by the PS2/PSP profits hiding what it's actual costs are, and the same with the 360 and many other departments.
