My name is Tag and I am a veteran from Spanish Special forces. I wonder if someone can help me to achieve some information about the new camo pattern to be used by the US Army. According to some text that that I read, Multicam will be used by 2012 to substitute actual ACU and Marpat patterns, Do you think this will happen?. What is the opinion of the Quite Proffesionals on this pattern...

Thanks to the help on this forum, I was able to successfully do a few half hour multicam segments. But I ran into a problem; I am using 3 angles - 1 from P2 footage, and 2 others from betacam. I digitized the betacam with the same codec as the P2. Then I set in-points on all 3 clips to sync them up for multicam. The multicam segment I made was going fine until about 20 minutes in when...

I have used multicam on a number of projects with two cameras. I have recently shot with three cameras, however when I drag the clip to the timeline the green line appears for rendering. I can edit as normal unless I render first then I don't get all the angles in the viewer,I get the same as in the prview window. Is this normal? I know it doesn't require rendering with two cameras....

I've been editing a lot of multicam footage recently, and now have to bring it into Color. Right now I am still using FCP 6, so I can't just "send" it over, like you can in FCP 7 (w/ color 1.5) In my mind, I have two options: 1. Media manage the timelines so everything is technically 'locked' and ready to go to color, or... 2. Upgrade to FCP 7 Now, I've tried to use FCP's ...

Hi all, I have a late 2004 multicam 3000 router that I believe needs a new z- axis stepper motor. The machine lost it's z-axis position so I pulled it apart and found I could move the stepper motor while powered up. I'm most certain I shouldn't be able to do this. Am I wrong to assume the stepper motor is shot or could it be something else? Also, if it is shot, can I expect to be able ...

We just shot a 30 minute show where I hired 2 very experienced cameramen each with their own camera. I had my own stationary camera in the back. Their cameras are a Panasonic with P2 cards, and a Sony with XDCAM media. When I told them that I wanted them to each turn their camera on and continuously record the entire show without pausing the camera to reposition, they acted like I was ...

Looks like we're going to be seeing a lot more of it in Britain... the UK just adopted a modified MultiCam pattern provided by Crye for their ground forces, replacing DPM across the board. Supposed to begin fielding by spring 2010 It's referred to as MTP (Multi-Terrain Pattern) and basically sports the same color scheme as MultiCam, with the exception that it has a similar pattern to the ...
