Under XP I used Google Desktop to index my files and emails, including those emails in Thunderbird. However, under the Windows 4.0 Search engine, although it indexes Outlook emails it doesn't appear it indexes Thunderbird emails. Is there a solution to this? Hi, I'd like to know if there's any way of using Ubuntu's package manager to install the latest Thunderbird version (3.0b4 IIRC.) I can issue the command: Code: sudo aptitude install mozilla-thunderbird but I believe that retrieves the latest stable version and not the beta I'm after. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I need to learn how to be able to access my mozilla thunderbird email account on my new laptop. I have already downloaded thunderbird on my laptop but it keeps bringing me to "create a new account" I already have a mozilla thunderbird email account, I just don't know how to access it on this new computer.
