I'm going to be in the Orlando, FL area for Christmas with a new SS 29er. I've never ridden there before. Does anyone have any experience/suggestions for good rides in central FL? Thank you.

I just got an awesome mountain bike. Anybody mountain bike on here? I took it out to the trails at Ben Geren park in Fort Smith first thing. I went in from the Ben Geren side and when down the first trail I saw. I know there are at least four out there and I don't know which one I went on. Whichever one it was a little muddy and just about killed me, I didn't know I was that out of shape. ...

Was out at Desert Classic enjoying the maiden voyage on my new custom build up Titus Moto-Lite, I had to stop on the trail within 3/4 of mile of the trailhead to make an adjustment. Mr Lycra Racer guy came speeding up, I say hello as I always do, his response...your in the middle of the trail. I stopped where I did because it was at least 6ft wide, he had plenty of space to get by. 5 years ...

Watch this space. One of the other year offs was a really big adventure. Sadly photos are a bit scarce as my camera got stolen.... The better colour in these shots is from Kodachrome 64. Some of the other were on a Fuji film that I think was exposed at the wrong iso The main reason for the colours being as they are is me tugging on the vibrance slider!...

There's not a whole lot of off-road trails in Orlando proper, but get outside the city and there are a few places to ride. Check out Kyle's Bike Shop - they're a tad more into MTBing/Freeriding than the other shops in Orlando so they may be able to help you find "rogue" trails in Orlando proper.
