My 93 year old grandfather has had an old mosler safe for over 50 years and I was going to try and keep it as a keep sake, but unable to get it moved at this time. I was trying to find out its age and worth (Number on handle is 239215). It does have some surface rust top and left side but works and all keys/wood drawers inside work. If unable to sell we were going to donate to Habitat for ...

I have a Mosler 1940's safe approx-size 30"w 30"d&40"h. wieght 600to 800 lbs. It is in good condition and I was wondering what this safe is worth. I am thinking of auctioning it off. Thanks! Answer Kim, In order to rate, identify, or evaluate your safe I am going to need pictures. Evaluation photos should consist of full exterior / interior views, and detail photos of the dial, handles...

I just dragged home this safe marked "The Mosler Company" with "Boston Mass" below it . The safe is open but I have no combination . After doing a little research I understand I can get the combination by by removing the inside keyed fob , is this correct ? While in there should I also remove the inside screwed panel and attempt to clean/check the workings ? The doors are pretty with some design ...

I have a 4 Drawer Mosler .Approved Security Container with a serial number of 1499050, its new 420 LBS.Its not closed and the small digital screen not work. I do not have the combination, do you know how I could get this open? Answer Jone, As Mosler went out of business in 2001, your container can't be new! The lock on the container is probably a Mas-Hamilton (Kaba-MAS) X07 or X08 lock. ...

I need to find the approximate weight of a Mosler safe -- Model 04, Serial 19819-10 (could possibly be 19815-10). We need to move the safe and just want to have some idea. Thanks for your help. Answer Deb, Unfortunately, the Mosler product manual that I have, does not list the models the way the safes were labeled. I suppose its a good thing that Mosler went bankrupt as there were some ...

After picking up a 1897 mosler safe and doing some research I'm finding it interesting . I have a chance to pick up a few more late 1800 to early 1900 safes for short money . I guess my question is , is there a market out there for these old safes in working order even if they are plain looking ? Answer Carl, There is always a market for everything, some markets are just larger than ...

..well, inserts actually. I really enjoy my Ninco Lightning cars (Lambo, Acura & Mosler). However: the plain, unadorned wheels are not particularly inspiring. So now I am in the process of doing inserts for these wheels. Pics below show the Slot.it Ferrari F40 inserts that I have doctored to fit the Lamborghini. Note that I replaced the rear wheels with BWA 18" wheels: the Slot.it inserts ...

Shades, this Mosler quoting Innes on matters pertaining to Money is one thing, but he's rather naive on energy policies. For example, he just accepts its possible that Iraq could triple its output??? http://moslereconomics.com/2009/12/15/iraq-to-incr ease-crude-production/#comments "Iraq struck deals with several foreign energy giants to nearly triple its oil output in an auction that ...

Back in the day, I do distinctly remember a few wild cars driven on the street. This goes back to say, 1970. There was a guy in Detroit, I believe, that had a Chevy Nova funny car. It had a Logghe brothers tube frame, fiberglass body that tilted up, just like a funny car, blown big block Chevy with a 6-71 supercharger on it, and an aluminum interior with one seat situated in the middle of the car...
