MOLA softlights have just announced an ABS plastic version of their 22" Demi beautydish which will be available early January 2010. Pricing will be competitive. The additional Lumi bracket allows for mounting speedlights and other smaller strobes. Details: blog.mola-light.com also a new grid will be available shortly.

Hello, I just received my Mola Euro beauty dish, the size of the dish is 33.5' Does someone kowns some rule of thumb that can be applied to get the best look possible out of the dish? How far from the subject usualy do you use it? is their any resource that show some lights setup that use a beauty dish? Thank you for your help Fred
