I am interested in buying a bus but am unable to locate the VIN or year of manufacture of the vehilce, where is it located. Also can this Split Bus be towed with a regular VW tow Bar?

just a quickie here.. just got a spare 173 but it wont hold an idle in my car. i have tried swapping in the chip from my own DME but still wont idle, just dies if i let off the gas. fit the standard chip from this 173 into my own 173 and it works like a charm. im assuming this spare i got must be from a car equipped with a lambda sensor? I'm really just curious if any one has had any issues with the New outboard year model eliminations. Not only Yamaha but apparently all of the motor manuf. are starting this. From what I understand the motor can be built whenever but still be titled the year it's sold. Ex: It's built in 2007 and sold in 2010 than it's a 2010 Year model. thanks guys at £!300 i guess i can live with sliding a lever 1 inch i almost always used to drive in auto but on a recent tip to the scotish highlands discovered the merits of the full maual mode on a twisty road so i will put that idea in the mental bin and wait till i upgrade the whole car in a few years cheers for all your replys tim
