I am trying to import some raw P2 footage which has been log and transferred from FInal Cut. When i import the clips into Mocha for AE v1, the clips turn to noise pattern on the first frame, blank for a few frames then 1 frame of inverted footage, then blank for the rest of the timeline. Is there some incompatibility with DVCPRO HD footage, or am i missing some settings?

Hi, All, (1) I wanted to upgrade to the latest version of Mocha but at the same time I wanted to use it with FCP. So is there a difference between "Mocha 1.6.0" and "Mocha for FCP"? (2) And if I purchesed Mocha for FCP, how would that effect Mocha's relationship with After Effects since I won't have Mocha for After Effects? Thanks

Hello, I have After Effects CS4 academic version with Mocha for AE V2. I am trying the Shape plugin demo and I get messages saying that I can't export shape data with my version. Hey Guys Quick question. i'm new to Mocha for FCP...If I have a long clip, that, in FCP i've trimmed and put effects on, then decide i need to export that to Mocha for tracking... What is the easiest way to do that? If the clip is really long in my capture scratch, do I have to bring that long clip into Mocha, find where I need to motion cap, set in/outs, then export my xml/data...or...

I just ran into a very irritating issue with Mocha. Simple scene / setup, everything tracks fine but there is a huge issue when exporting to AE. So here goes. Scene is a person "flipping" a piece of hard paper. Nothing special and as stated the track works fine in Mocha. I'd like to know if the adding of the grid to the glasses done at :57-1:17) can be done with mocha for ae w/ the plugin? is that simple rotoscoping? the guy in the video used full mocha...is that what is needed? also, can I place objects on track that are not square? e.g. a watch?? thanks, vic

I'm having a hard time getting Mocha for AE installed. Do I copy and paste the license into the soho(1.2.3) version that came with CS 4 or the Learning Edition-V2? This has been a bit of a nightmare.
