The mobile modems are cheaper and faster than fixed line broadband. Is there a wireless router into which I can plug and use the mobile USB modem? This would give the best of both worlds! I would be thinking of an Eircom, O2 or Vodafone service.

I dont understand why that when i tried to connect to internet using my mobile modem, the status shows connected and there are some green signals for in and out traffic. however, the webpages just cant be loaded and says that the internet is not connected? Agreed, occasional unauthorized tethering is one thing, but doing it on a full-time basis is a really bad idea, not to mention very detrimental to the network and your neighbor's user experience. Tether responsibly!
