I had installed the "quick settings" app that was mentioned in another thread. When I tried to open it this morning to turn on the mobile network (I usually keep it off at home), a message popped up saying the application was not updated properly and it needed to be removed and reinstalled. I tried to go to settings>wireless controls to turn on the mobile network but that isn't working either....

...plan in order to access the intern? So I was going to buy an Iphone 3G of some sort and hack it for my TMobile Network. What I am concerned about is having to buy the data plan for TMobile(that I do not currently buy the plan). I know that wifi on Ipod Touches are free(in most places) and didnt know if it would be similiar to that or if I would be required to buy the plan. Thanks all.

i bought an LG on 3 a week ago, and when i try and ring someone it says, 'your service does not allow access to this number' when i dial a number, but when someone rings me it says to them ' the number you have dialled cannot accept this call, please hang up and try again later ' so what does this mean, im totally confused as for the first few days i could receive calls so why all of a sudden ...

What network to go with? I am getting a PAYG iPhone, no contract!!! n the price is exactly the same except for O2 ( NYSE: TEF ) offering unlimited internet whereas Orange has a 250mb cap....however they say Orange got better coverage..even though where I am at the moment is utter rubbish. Please vote O2 vs Orange. Thanks!!!

Anyone based in the UK have any idea if we'll be able to use our mobiles on board to connect to continental networks? Is there even a chance we'll get a signal? I read recently the tarriffs to the EU have come way down and would like to use my phone on board.

I have lost the Vodafone mobile connect icon in network connection, it is stopping me connecting to the internet, the K3565 dongle has worked perfectly up to a few days ago, I have deleted the software and reinstalled again, it loads up the mobile connect window and says device found and a signal strength, I click on connect and it says connecting but does not connect Help Roy...
