I've had CCI stingers on backorder since August. They continually pushed the expected in-stock date, a week, two weeks, 3 weeks at at time. For the last week, the expected date has only crept forward one day at a time. As of right now, they say "tomorrow." Chance in hell?

I'm in the same boat. My scoped 597 was sighted in at 100 yards for Stingers, and right after I got it where I was happy I couldn't find any more Stingers to save my life. Everything else shoots way low, and I haven't wanted to adjust for it yet. Looks like I'll be picking a new brand/type and sighting in for that. Kinda sucks, I liked what the Stingers did to jackrabbits.

I have a 1950 marlin 336 RC. I order some parts for it from MidwayUSA. It got a great deal on the stock , but the front band screw is too large. I checked a around the internet and found there is a new style and old style front band screw but could not find one in stock any where. Any sugestions? Also any recomendations on how to mount a scope on it (no screw holes)

I like the 7 ½ shot in the Fiocchi Low Recoil 20 ga round.
