Coercing people to quite cigarettes has helped push personal vice into the field of overeating. So much for social micromanagement and the law of unintended consequences. What will the nanny state do next to crash into our private lives and solve our endless personal problems? I'm sure they'll think of something that will involve higher taxes and more regulations.
