LSU Looks At Different Revenue Mechanisms--Microbrewery? - WAFB Channel 9, Baton Rouge, LA | Might be an interesting place to eat and have a beer, but it will probably be expensive. A partnership with Mockler (mentioned in the article) might ruin it though.

How about a new game where you own and operate a microbrewery. Like Cafe World with a choice of themes (sports bar, dance club, private club, etc). Stock the drinks, brew/blend your own beer, theme nights, late night snacks, waitresses, bouncers, bartender, cook, wash glasses, call people cabs, raids by the cops, big screen TV's, DJ's & sound systems, lighted dance floors, etc.

This is Seven Brides Brewing, brewing great tasting beer just ...

If the bottle is quality, i.e. a brown, non-twist-off bottle from a local microbrewery, can I save these bottles and use them to bottle my homebrewed beer?

I've been reading up on whirlpooling and have done a number of searches on HBT... but none of the threads have seemed to answer the question of why I would want to whirlpool, as a homebrewer? For a microbrewery doing 15-barrel batches I can see them not wanting a couple dozen pounds of trub wasting space in their fermentors. But for a homebrewer doing 5g batches it doesn't take up much room....

I'm the founder of Iowa State Homebrewers Association and we're recently looking into sponsorship. Our LHBS doesnt do enough business to be able to offer us much and the microbrewery has assisted in the form of a meeting place and guided tours. I was wondering if anyone knows a good website or online supplier who might be open to a sponsorship situation. Between the other experienced brewers...

local brewery started by a friend of a friend called "Dustbowl" makes an IPA called "Hops of wrath" and its epic. I may be partial cause the guy is all around badass and plays airsoft with us, but its very good and his brewery is featured in one of the Sam Adams microbrew packs, as well as being on tap at just about every local place that has beer on tap. im also a fan of Sierra Nevada, which ...
