Hi guys, For anyone out there using the Samsung Intrepid (or really any other WinMo phone...), do you guys have a microSD card in it? If so, what is the capacity? I'm new to WinMo and don't know if there's a whole lot of apps out there that really take up (in total) GB's of space so I'm trying to figure out what the optimal size is for me...I plan to throw on 2-3 GB's of music, so that might...

I am having my MicroSD card unexpectedly removing itself (not physically) from the phone on a semi-regular basis. I then have to remove the cover. Unclick it and reset it in for it to recognize it again. Anyone else with this issue or just me. Maybe bad card but it is the stock one that came with the phone. Droid Eris

Hello All I have seen a lot of debate in different places as to what speeds the HTC HERO will read and write at. Most recently I saw a posting someone had of an email from HTC stating that the I/O speeds are limited to that of a class 2 device. I have two questions: 1) is can anyone else able confirm or refute that? 2) are I/O speeds hardware or software limited? (By that I mean is it ...

I'm having issues with the music/microSB card, too. I'm Canadian so I don't have the Verizon version of the phone, I have the Telus one. There's no keyboard to attach, it's just a touch phone. So technically it'll have the same options/menu/& so on, I guess. Anyhow, I've done what everyone is saying to do in other forums, but it still doesn't work. I still can't figure out how to access the ...

I was working through the pandora code to see how the app varies quality depending on whether its on EVDO or WIFI and noticed in /media/ there is the "card" directory that is currently empty. FYI, when you connect the pre to your computer and put it in USB mode you are seeing /media/internal/. Im sure that all the home brewers out there that know FAR MORE than I do and have seen this already. ...

No, probably not much speed difference in a WM device between class 4 and 6. You'll see the difference if you use the card in a decent card reader though.

Thank you for your suggestion.Actually I need to check memory cards by copying a file to it and reading that from memory card. Can I know whether any DLLs available for this "File and Stream I/O classes" so that I can easily use it in other programming languages also. I used the dll shell32 for formating the drive.
