There are rumours going around that U2 will be in Mexico City on May 30th 2010. That is exciting!!!! What is not so exciting is the prices they say the tickets will be going for!!! Over 5000 pesos for some which is about 500 dollars, I think I'd rather pay for a trip elsewhere and see them play...it will almost cost as much and the seats will probably be better

Hola, Looking for recommendations on a day trip - either into downtown Mexico City or trip to Teotihuacan - we arrive at 6:00 a.m. to Mexico NORTH Bus station, but need to leave by 5:00 p.m. to take bus from Mexico Sur Bus Station (TAXQUENA) to go to Cuernavaca to meet family. My husband has never been, and I would love to show him this great city! We always only...

For everyone who is curious about what happens flying from Canada ( Alberta ) through Mexico City - we did it yesterday without any problems, trouble or changes. Our luggage was tagged straight through to HUX, we did not pick it up or clear Customs in Mexico City. When you arrive in MEX you'll be in terminal one, you'll go downstairs to Immigration - get into the 'Foreigners' ...

Regarding the apparent attempt to "civilize" Mexico City, a good place to begin would be to teach Mexicans, especially those working in the tourist industry (which accounts for the third greatest amount of earned foreign currency for the government), the concept of customer service in the market place. It would be difficult to find a more loutish group of people in any country working in ...

Judged: 1 1 1 Mexico City bears as much resemblance to the rest of Mexico in terms of culture, attitudes, personality, social stratas, economy, etc as does the city of New York to the rest of the US. In other words, not much. Mexico City also has legalized abortion, the only location in Latin America outside of Cuba to do so. Civil unions for homosexuals and abortion in ...

Thanks to all for the great responses, especially the Tasquena option. Can you believe after all that, we ended up not staying in Coyoacan, so caught the bus to TAPO anyway! I can contribute a bit on our bus-taxi experiences at both the Puebla and TAPO terminals: excellent, with no hustle or hassle, which we certainly had at the MEX airport a few years ago. The problem seemed to be that at the...
