I just got back from San Antonio and I am reminded that anyplace north of there doesn't know what they're talking about regarding good mexican food. And the best place in San Antonio is Mi Tierra. So any of you nutjobs who are lucky enough to be in Tejas really must try it. AND they have a gigantic bakery on premises. To die for. It's festive, too.

Coming from Houston, TX, I am used to finding really good Mexican food every few feet. My husband lived here a while before I moved over and said he couldn't find anything that compared. I live on the Northeast side of Columbia but don't mind driving for some fresh tortillas and fajitas. What places have you sampled that really made an impression on you in the area? Thank you for your time ...

What is the best Mexican lunch option? I thought chicken fajitas without the tortillas, but I don't know how to count the points for the chicken without a scale. I'm sure they give you more than 1 serving in a dish. They also have a chicken fajita wrap which I am assuming is cheese-less. Surprisingly the wrap looks like it may be less points ...

Albuquerque had the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life but damn I can't remember the name. I also had a great meal in Sante Fe this summer. Both times they had baskets of warm sopapillas and a bottle of honey with the meal with is far superior to a basket of chips.

i could eat Mexican at any time of day, but i'd have to say that Italian is far more refined.  They are both equally great in their own way  Unfortunately, if you want "refined" Mexican food your have to go to the source. Americanized Mexican food is the same recycled garbage regardless of where you go. Tacos, burritos or quesadillas are the equivalent of hamburgers and hot dogs, but if you ...

I would take Mexican food hands down. Italian food is no competition for Mexican food.  Mexican is good but Italian has way more style, better taste and superior presentation. Not an equitable match at all.       NO NO NO, Zing. Mexican food is way more than just tacos. You need to do some research. I think Italian food is a lot of the same but with different names. Mexican food has tons of ...
