James Hansen, doyen of the alarmists, apparently believes that if we don't drastically cut Co2 emissions then sea levels will rise by up to 5 metres by 2095. Rational science or ludicrous fear-mongering? http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg19…

Glowbot is my first robot. He is a prototype for the full scale model which will stand 2 metres (this being a project to complete in the far flung future). The battery compartment is centrally located, accessible via a hollow beneath the 3 logo, facing (-Y). Glowbot cannot move but he can glow. Unhelpfully, this is the matte colored version here. For size comparison, I've included ...

I was brought up using Metric [is 17] but I find it far easier to judge distance and work in imperial. Imperial = feet, inches, stone, pounds. Metric = Centimetres, Metres, Kilograms, grams. I was wondering how many people were brought up in imperial but now use metric, or have stayed to imperial. And vica versa.

Quote: It was already dark on Saturday evening and Austin had little time to react when he discovered the reason for Angel's strange behaviour. The boy spotted what he first thought was a strange dog emerge from the shadows. Just two metres away, the cat charged at him. “He was like: Aw, crap, it's a cougar.” But Angel was ready – the young dog leapt at the hungry cougar and “took the ...

With kids, chrisrtmas visitors etc it has taken me a while to get through the 40 loaded rounds for testing (4 rounds for each of 5 different charge weights for W760 and AR2206H). I used Nosler shots 50gr SP projectiles with shooting undertaken at about 130 metres. It looks like W760 might be the poweder of choice in this rifle for 50 grainers. I think I also saw some 55gr Nosler shots in the ...
