My friend's cat has that. They found a human antibiotic to use for him (nothing developed for felines from what I understand). He (Oliver) isn't getting better, the mrsa is resistant to the antibiotic they found. The vet is keeping him and is going to continue to treat him (free of charge, only other option was putting him down and she didn't want my friend to spend all this time, money ...
