QUESTION: Hi, Denny! I read your answer to AJ's query with great interest, as we have exactly the same plan (Athens-Delphi-Meteora). You've solved that trip for us very nicely! (We thought we might spend the night at Kastraki). However, we don't need to return to Athens after our day in Meteora; we will be catching the overnight train north to Sofia, and it would seem that the nearest ...

It looks like we might be visiting Meteora by train in the summer of 2010. Right now its too early to tell where we might be staying (Kalambaka has the train station but Kastraki sounds nicer) but I've heard interesting mentions of walking from Kastraki or Kalambaka. How long does the walk take and how strenuous is it? If the walk turns out to be too long or strenuous are there any ...

Either you are a newcomer or you've been with us for a while, here are some rules that i wish you to respect if you're planing to be a part of the Meteora family: 1. Please try to respect the other members of the faction. If you do not agree with them on a matter please do not start to insult them . Just try to undestand they have a different opinion on that particular matter. 2. Any ...

I'm planning a trip to Greece in February, 2010. I will be going from Thessaloniki to Meteora to Delphi. Does anyone know of the bus schedule/ transportation connection to get from Meteora to Delphi? Based on my research, it seems that the majority of the people go in the other direction: from Delphi to Meteora, so I'm having a hard time finding this info. In Lonely Planet Greece, it ...

Kalinai nodded, as if considering the offer. "Sure, there's one thing I want from you more than anything else," Kalinai said, adopting a serious, portentious voice. She leaned closer to Meteora. "And that's...make me a nerf burger!" She leaned back and grinned. "But seriously, Mettie, I don't want anything from you except your solemn promise that you won't try and kill me any more, that ...

Well, I think that Meteora and HT were pretty bitchin, myself, and MTM was too soft, but some of the soft songs are useful too. I mean, Shadow of the Day is the song that got me with my girlfriend now. And I play No more sorrow and Given Up on my guitar. I do hope that LP goes back to bombarding my senses with techno ass whooping, but I also hope they have a soft spot or two on the new Album.
