Hi Guys The new metalink site https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html states on the front page that you only require Adobe Flash Player 9.0.115 or above. I currently have 9.0.115 installed but metalink keeps on insisiting that i install flash 10, at this point i have a option to install version 10 or say no... which should in theory still let me ...

Hi, I am having issues installing Siebel (in a test environment), and was wondering if having access to Metalink may help me. Does anyone know if purchasing a database standard edition product, with support give me access to Siebel articles on Metalink ? Or would that be limited to just the product I purchase ? Thanks

Guys. Ever since the new metalink lauched, I can not find the compatibility matrix anymore. Instead, it is now called certifications search. I did search on Oracle 10g R2 and was told Oracle 10g does not support Solaris SPARC 64 bits. Can anyone tell me how to find the old matrix with correct information? I need access to Metalink and esp. eTRM. I am an independent developer. if I buy a Oracle Database and support for $600 from oracle will I get access to the whole metalink and eTrm's? or will my CSI stop me from accessing only Database related SR's and support information? is there any other way to get access to Metalink and eTRM? Thanks!...

Ok, another attempt. From the metalink doc, and another post: 1.Remove oratab orainst.log orainventory from /etc or rename them as oratab_old etc. 2.Delete all file under /tmp and give permission 777 /tmp/.oracle if its exist 3.Remove installation folders and restart installaiton I deleted everything on that second drive, mounted as /oraapps12 ...
