From the Dallas Morning News' aviation blog, the DOT has apparently placed blame for the CO 2816 debacle at RST a few weeks ago. http://aviationblog.dallasnews.com/a...ot-blames-c al-rochester-delay.html Apparently, Mesaba was the only carrier able to assist ExpressJet at RST, and erroneously told the ExpressJet captain (who was pleading to disembark the passengers) that the lack...

Just announced today... DL will not renew the leases on 13 saabs that are up in 2010. This means that a total of 23 saabs will be returned to Saab. This announcement is in ADDITION to the 10 previously announced a few months ago. This brings the fleet to 26 total saab by the end of 2010. Good thing they just spent lots of $$$ refurbishing them. A total of 12 have the new DL paint ...

I, like many Americans are in a airline service location trap. I live in a metropolitan location that has around 100,000 people. Our airport is served by two airlines (was three), American Eagle with service to DFW, and Pinnacle/Mesaba that flies to MEM, the former was ASA to Atlanta. There is a larger airport farther north that services many more destinations with more airline choices, the ...

Let's cross our fingers and make sure that this will generate visits and continued interest from SAAB operators. Need to get Mesaba ...

Good question, however why ask when you know the answer? Of course the answer is yes and very common. Most of all between major passenger and cargo airlines who engage the services of smaller airlines so as to increase the number of destinations they can sell to their customers. To make this process seamless to the major airlines customers, also in truth to fool them. The smaller airline ...

DTW, like every airport, has a 20-year Master Plan that is continually being revisited and updated. They went through a significant effort in 2007 and 2008 to update the plan. It is simply that, a plan, and nothing in it is definite. More of a wish list if anything, and many of the items are based upon growth to a certain volume before additional infrastructure or expansions are ...
