My data source is an excel spreadsheet. The date column is formatted to display November 11, 2009 but when I merge with my main document (Word document), it displays the date as 11/11/2009 in merged document. hi, I'm working on a tranformation, which looks up rows based on a common keys in two different databases, then merges the data into the first one. The tranformation works fine until the last "Update" step. I have less fields to update then the total amount of columns in the target table, but I don't think I should update all the fields.. I'm using the latest Kettle, and ...

I am doing a mail merge to Word - two columns contain lots of wording. One column merges fine, the other seems to stop at about 255 characters and spaces. Why would one column work, and the other not? thanks, Diane
