I am a technology teacher who has lots students. I am trying to find a way to have the student's username either show up on their desktop OR show up in the menu bar like I have on my laptop when I have fastswitching on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello - I am in the process of building a web site that utilizes the Spry Menu Bar Horizontal menu. I have previewed the menu in many browsers all of which look great except Internet Explorer (6 & 7). Can anyone identify for me what an icon in my menu bar is for? The icon in question is the one that appears to resemble the at&t raising the bar logo, the 5 bars that get taller and taller from left to right. I cannot for the life of my figure out what it is supposed to do, it is always grayed out and when i click it says it is initializing. any help would be greatly appreciated....

Has anyone ever had this happen to them?: Weird black boxes and lines on the menu bar. Happens once every two months or so to me. What is this? Is it just finder freaking out or is something wrong with my computer? Video RAM? I've tried googling this, but no luck. Just a lot of shape-shifter themes. thanks!

I'm using Spry 1.6.1 in Dreamweaver CS4 on a Mac (Snow Leopard). After downloading a Windows update and then restarting my computer, I noticed that my worksheet Menu Bar in both Excel and Word have disappeared! I tried finding the Toolbar Customization under View and it is not there. How can I restore the menu bar?

I'm trying to center a horizontal spy menu bar on a page. For some reason IE, FF and Safari are all left justifying the menu and if I don't have a padding property (see below) in the ul.MenuBarHorizontal it shifts the entire bar about 20 pixels to the right. I use menumeters on my OS X boxes and love it, mainly for CPU usage and data transfer numbers. How hard would it be to add a simple CPU usage meter to the top menu bar? I would also like to see data throughput eventually (up and down), but the CPU meter would be my first pick. TIA
