I am definitely a newbie...so this may sound like a really dumb question, but every tutorial I've looked at about how to convert .flv files has told me the first step is to go to the FILE menu. My menu bar has : Media, Playback, Audio, Video, Tools, View, Help It looks slightly different in that way than image of the players on the tutorials. What's up with that?? Where is FILE?! I downloaded HEK+ on the Halo maps site and the auther warned that the the menu bar mekes it freeze. I tried another version and that one did the same thing. I can't find any online that doesn't freeze when you try to use the menu bar. does any on think windows 7 has any thing to do with it. and can any one direct me to a version thata works, or can atleast tell me how to fix my problem....

When running the Java client, com.sun.javaws.Main displays in the desktop Menu Bar instead of Final Cut Server . This wasn't the case prior to the 1.5.1 update. Most of the time it has a triangle pointing to the right and sometimes it's a lock icon. (see link) http://imgur.com/qxy1S.png I sometimes have web pages spin and spin and never load and when I check my connection, sure enough, it's the lock icon. I try to select the network, even though it looks as though it's connected and it will "scan" but never really find the network....

When I open mail the page is open to a specific message. There's no accounts or delete tab. The bottom bar is still there but I can't get to any inboxes. Tried turning off and on with no luck. Iphone iPhone OS 3....

A new icon appeared in the title bar on desktop and I have no idea why or where it came from. It's a black scroll -- clicking on it drops down a long menu of access to scripts. (see screen cap attached) I don't work with scripts and don't want that thing on my title bar. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it, please? Hi. Im runnning Vista. Today my start menu and taskbar were missing when I booted up. I have tried the recommended fixes on this site ,but nothing. In the control panel there is no response when I click on the task bar icon etc. I cannot check to lock it as I totally cannot access the task bar or start menu.Ctl Esc doe not also bring it up. Plse advise. 1 person needs an answer I do too
