If memory serves, Power Computing Macs were made by Motorola, or maybe Motorola had its own branded version? Can't remember and not that it matters now... As already pointed out, however, I don't think Jobs was around then in any event. But, yes, you're right...the other vendors were undercutting Apple on HW. Ready to be semi-civil yet?

I do remember that the company rejected it, just not exactly the time frame. I know there's been major discussions on that issue here, and I would really hate to see such a thing.

If my memory serves me correctly, in the recent past the pps has increased just before the earnings reports only to decrease after. Perhaps the current downtrend is an indication that the price will rise after the earnings announcement.

...Cindy seemed to think that she was the defacto leader of all anti-war efforts, and got upset when there were groups independent of her, and *gasp!* even criticizing her for all the grandstanding she did.

FYI, if memory serves, Linode's are Atlanta (Georgia), Newark (New Jersey), Dallas (Texas), and Fremont (California). International traffic is usually best served by Newark.
